In Action: Dennis Jernigan

Since the early 1990’s, Dennis Jernigan has been leading people into a deeper relationship with God through worship. Many of Dennis’ songs, like “You Are My All in All”, “We Will Worship the Lamb of Glory”, and “I Belong to Jesus”, are known around the world. But Dennis’ life is about more than being a musician and worship leader. Listen to Dennis speak for just a few minutes and it’s obvious what he’s all about...people encountering the Kingdom of God and His love so that they can experience freedom and healing.

Kingdom Come

His new album “Kingdom Come” is a collection of 15 songs, all born out of Dennis’ heart-cry to have God’s Kingdom way of thinking invade and saturate his own life and relationships. Having been delivered out of a homosexual identity into a new life in Christ, Dennis knows that God can do the impossible and that people from all walks of life, in any situation, can experience the restoring power of God through Jesus Christ.

A Flexible Worship Environment

Dennis’ approach to live worship has always been the same. “I don’t have a set list before I go to minister,” he says. “In fact, I’d rather not have a list. I want to be so in need of the Holy Spirit’s direction that I can ask the Lord two questions when I go to lead worship: ‘Lord, what are you feeling for Your children?’ and ‘Lord, what are the needs of this group?’ And then that’s how I lead.”

EasyWorship gives Dennis the flexibility to have a stunning presentation without compromising his need for spontaneity. Quick lookup for lyrics, combined with drag-and-drop functionality to instantly pair lyrics and backgrounds, allows his kids (who travel with him and run show control) to queue songs with custom backgrounds in seconds. “My kids have been all over the world with EasyWorship because it is that easy,” says Dennis. “It gives me such flexibility that I can minister in whatever direction the Holy Spirit is leading me. I love it!”
