Installing the K-Lite Codec
Pack for EasyWorship
Step 1
Download
the K-lite Codec Pack installer. Click Here
Please
email us if the download link is
broken.
Click save if asked to run or save.
Click
the Direct Download Link if available Don’t
click the link on the Google Add
Step 2
Start the installation
of the K-Lite codec pack by double clicking the file
you downloaded. 
Step 3
Click The
Next button until you get to the Select
Components Screen.
Step 4
Select Profile 8 From the Drop Down list at the top
Step 5
Under
MPEG-2, DVD Select Gabest.
Step 6
Scroll Down
the list until you see “DirectShow
source Filters:”
- Leave AVI splitter at the
default Setting.
- Under Matroska
splitter select Gabest.
- Under MP4/3GP/MOV splitter uncheck Haali.
- Under Ogg
select Gabest.
- Under MPEG splitter uncheck Haali(TS)
Step 7
Click Next and keep
clicking next.
You may be
prompted to close your internet browser.
Click OK
If the
Codec Guide website loads, you can close it.
Step 8
The Done! Screen will appear.
- If you are using Windows 7
select Run Win7DSFilter Tweaker tool.
- If you are using another
version of windows just click finish and skip to step 10.
Step 9
If you are
using Windows 7 and selected Run WinDSFilter Tweaker tool the following window will appear.
Only make
changes under the 32-bit decoders: area.
- Select ffdshow
for: H.264, XVID, DIVX, MP4V, AAC
- Select Gabest
for : MPEG2
Click Apply and click apply on all other
screens.
Click Yes on the last
prompt.
Step 10
Download
the FFDShow Settings File. Click Here
Save the
file if prompted to save or open.
Step 11
Open the
FFDShowSettings.exe file.
- Windows 7/Vista users Right click file and click run as administrator.
- Windows XP users double click the file.
- Click Yes
on the first prompt.
- Click OK on the next prompt.
NOTE: The
FFDShowSettings.exe file has to be installed under each windows
account that will be using EasyWorship. To do this, log on to each windows
account and follow the instructions on step 11.
The K-Lite codec pack has now been installed successfully. You can now use FLV, MP4, H.264, Many Mov and many other files in EasyWorship.
Note:
Apple Little Endian and Big Endian (RAW
or Uncompressed) audio will not work with EasyWorship using this codec
pack.
