List of Shortcuts

Postby joshf » Fri Feb 27, 2004 8:48 pm

How can I get an exhaustive list of keyboard shortcuts for the latest version? Also, how can I edit the shortcuts?

Default Hotkeys
<HOME> First Slide
<END> Last Slide
<DOWN> Next Slide
<UP> Prev Slide
<RIGHT> Next Schedule Item
<LEFT> Prev Schedule Item
<PGDN> Go Live

V# <Enter> to take you to Verse #
C# <Enter> to take you to Chorus #
T# <Enter> to take you to Tag #
B# <Enter> to take you to Bridge #
I# <Enter> to take you to Intro #
E# <Enter> to take you to End #
# <Enter> to take you to Slide #
You can also omit the # on most of the items above if needed. For example C <Enter> will go to the first chorus.

0 <Enter> to go to Chorus
. <Enter> to go to Bridge

<CTRL-SPACE> Switch between live and main screen in single monitor mode

Custom hot keys
In v2.4 we will add an interface to change these keys. If you can't wait, they are located in the registry but you may need to know what each value is.
Each item can have multiple keys separated by comas; for example, SlideNextKeys = "78, 40, 32" which is 'N', Down, and Space.
If you want to use the CTRL or ALT key simply precede the number with 'C-', or 'A-' or 'CA-' for both CTRL and ALT together; for example, BlackScreenKeys = "C-66" which is CTRL-B.

Here is a list of common keys.
B = 66
C = 67
N = 78
P = 80
BackSpace = 8
LeftArrow = 37
UpArrow = 38
RightArrow = 39
DownArrow = 40
SpaceBar = 32
PGUP = 33
PGDN = 34
End = 35
Home = 36
A thru Z = 65 thru 90

Remotes and Registry

Postby jsheler » Thu Mar 18, 2004 9:07 am

I just wanted to thank you all for the posts and the information. I bought an extra RF remote with the Dell computer just for this program in our sanctuary, and couldn't get the remote to work for pastor's PPT. After editing the registry hotkeys, it works great, and he'll be happy that he can control his own PPT without interaction. (I hope he checks his spelling.. :-? )

Thanks again for the wonderful program!

:D

What remote do you use, and how did you map it to EW?

Heh. I think I've found the remote Terry mentioned (in another post)
(https://interlinkstore.com/store/store_ ... egoryID=42)

Don't really like the design though - anyone know if this one would work?

Re: List of Shortcuts

Hey, I'm brand new to Easyworship, so I'm sorry if this question is already answered.
Although I didn't find anything...

I'm using EasyWorship via Bootcamp on a Macbook Pro,
and everything work fine, but in live mode the left and right arrows don't work(to go to next/previous schedule item)
I tried changing the shortcuts in that "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Softouch\EasyWorship\Settings\hotkeys"
file but it didn't work. I played with all the keys and realised that I can move to the next Schedule item by pressing (fn + DOWN).
Is there a way to go to the previous Schedule item on Bootcamp?

Regards

This list is helpful, and we used it to set up to use the remote for our computer.
However, when we are not projecting but creating a schedule we have a problem. When initially going into Easy Worship (2009) the 'live' screen may be presented on top of the user screen, presenting in effect a blank blue screen on the computer.
We, therefore, would value a hotkey to toggle on/off 'live'

You can press esc or ctrl+space bar on the keyboard to make the control screen come to the front.
There is an option in advanced options to show live screen on startup. Just uncheck that and you can turn it on when you want it on.
Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person. Col. 4:6
